# Put

PUT https://signalcore.ai/v1/agents/{agent_id}/tools/{name}
Content-Type: application/json

The tool declared on the agent, or declared anew: `{description, input_schema, mode:
"server" | "client", url (a server tool's, https), asks_first}`. With the organization's
first server tool, `secret`: what its server tools are signed with, shown this once.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Bearer authentication of the form `Bearer <token>`, where token is your auth token.
